Double Slider Window Features
Both sashes of our sliding windows open. This sliding operation is preferred by many over cranking their windows open. Sashes are easily removed for back-to-new cleaning. This is also a reason why sliders are great for basements, to satisfy egress requirements. The durable 4½" frame, with multiple air chambers for insulation, helps keep your home cozy, protecting against leaks and infiltration.

Multi-Chamber Construction
Our multi-chamber construction allows for superior thermal protection. It also adds strength to the window, making it more energy efficient and durable.

4½” fusion-welded frame
Our double slider windows come standard on a 4-1/2” deep frame, which is stronger and more durable than the standard 3-1/4” sold elsewhere. The deeper frames give extra dimensional stability and strength. It also allows for a lower sash profiles to maximize the glass surface.

Dual-pane insulated glass units
Two layers of glass are joined together to create a sealed hollow chamber that act as a thermal buffer. This drastically reduces direct heat transfer through the glass, as well as helps prevent condensation and ice build-up. It also helps soundproof the interior, especially in conjunction with a high-quality cellular spacer.

Low-emissivity coated glass
An invisibly thin coating is applied onto one or more of the glass surfaces, reflecting most of the heat in the form of infrared radiation back inside the home during winter and outside during summer, while letting most visible light pass through.

Argon gas filling
The air between the glass panes inside a thermal glass unit is replaced with argon. This inert, odourless gas is heavier than air, reducing convection between the panes. Its lower specific heat capacity reduces direct heat transfer. The argon fill hence reduces heat loss, and offsets water vapour to prevent condensation between the panes.

Ener-Edge® warm-edge spacer
Our insulated glass units use a cellular silicone warm-edge spacer with the lowest thermal conductivity on the market, minimizing heat transfer between the interior and the exterior. It also allows for the natural expansion and compression of glass due to environmental temperature changes without failing the seal between them.

Triple weather seals
Our window seal is made up of multiple continuous layers that wrap around the entire window. The co-extruded flexible PVC seals offer the highest degree of protection from air and water infiltration.

PVC-cladded interior wood extension
Our double slider windows use an interior wood extension that can be manufactured in any depth. This extension is cladded with maintenance-free PVC, providing a finish that does not need sealing or painting. It also allows for the installation of blinds or other window treatments, and adds to the window strength and durability.

High-gloss finish
We use the highest-grade PVC powder and fabrication techniques which result in a high-gloss PVC finish. As a result, our double slider windows are easier to clean, more durable, and won’t fade or yellow over time.

Decorative cam action locks
Our decorative cam action locks are a one-piece, die-cast metal system that is anchored to a metal sash rail reinforcement to provide exceptional durability and security.

Half screen/full screen option
Choose your preference. Half screens only allow for either one of the sashes of the window to be covered, but allow more natural light to enter your home, and offer access to the exterior through the other sash. Full screens allow for more airflow and ventilation while both sashes are open. With their durable elegant aluminium finish, these screens won’t warp or break down over time like some of the competition.

Added brickmould (option)
A brickmould added to the window frame at the factory cuts down on installation time, guarantees a perfect fit when installing your window, and reduces the risk of water infiltration.

Durable standard colours with hybrid aluminium-PVC construction
Our Classic series PVC windows are also available in several exterior colours. These colours are baked onto external extruded aluminium profiles, offering a finish that’s extremely durable.

Durable and quiet rollers
Enjoy smooth and whisper-quiet operation of your slider window with our durable sliding window roller assemblies.
Add Colour with Hybrid PVC / Aluminum Construction
For a more colorful look, our double slider windows, and all our windows for that matter, can be manufactured with Hybrid PVC / Aluminum construction which allows you to add colour (ivory, khaki, commercial brown, black, white) to your windows.
